Details of the mural painting project
The mural painting project is to fund the 15th anniversary for Damai Secondary School
Location: Block 719 bedok reservoir
Time: 2.30pm to 6.00pm (pack up at 5.10pm)
Date: 1st SESSION: 20th May

BEFORE THE ACTIVITY,
Collect Materials rom P.E store at 2.30pm sharp!

Masking Tape, Paint Brushes, Canvas, Plastic Containers, Pails and other miscellaneous materials
Artist Paintbrush,
Laminated paint guide,
Map of area,
Checklist and the task planning worksheet.

DURING THE ACTIVITY,

• 
  Canvas must be laid on the floor before starting to prevent any spills of paint on the floor.
  Task Distribution between members
• 
  Mix the paints in buckets provided (amount of paint will be given)
  Ensure members are on task and constantly check for quality of paint work.
  
• *IMPORTANT*
  [ Paint colour on paint guide may not be the same as the actual colour,due to the graphic quality of the printer]

AFTER THE ACTIVITY,

• 
  Area Cleaning(check area for paint spills,litter, etc.
• 
  Fold Canvas and return everything back to the P.E store
• 
  Soak painting brushes and wash it with turpentine or the paint will harden on the brush, rendering it useless

ITEMS GIVEN

• 3 pails
• 6 paintbrushes
• 1 canvas( For covering area around painting)
• 3 rolls of masking tape
• 1 set of artist paintbrushes (for outline and detailed work)
• Members must bring cloth/rag
• Chairs [For members to paint the part of the painting at the top of the wall](No replacement of lost items)

What we will be doing

• SESSION1:Paint area with yellow-reddish colour,paint area with red colour(if possible)
  
• SESSION2:Paint the skin colour of athlete,finish red(if still have),Paint area of white colour
• SESSION3:paint grey colour area,paint white,paint yellow colour area.
• SESSION4:Paint colour of hair(black as there is no brown),outline with smaller brushes using black paint,use artist brushes to outline.
  
• REMEMBER TO CLEANUP AREA AFTER SESSION IS OVER!! Cover the sides/corners/edges of painting to prevent irregular outline
  (take out tape only after the paint drys)
