Term 2 Updates

Dear members, I hope all of you had a good rest during the term break. Term 2 has started and I do hope all members are clear of their track and which day to attend by now. There should be no more excuses of 'I don't know' anymore.

Please take note of the following:

CCA Attendance
Members are reminded to attend the correct day for your CCA track(Monday or Thursday). The tracks are listed below. If you wish to find out or learn more about another track, you are welcome to attend the other day.
Monday = Animation / Videography / AV Support
Thursday = Robotics / Photography

Please make sure the I/C in charge for that day mark your attendance.

Those who are absent will need to provide a letter from parent or produce a copy of their MC and pass it to their respective I/Cs. Members who failed to do so will be given a warning, absence reported to their parent and may eventually risk getting kicked out of the CCA.

Noticeboard Update
Some of you may have noticed that we have updated our noticeboard. This was done by Daryl and Xue Kai during the term break. There is space where I/Cs from each tracks can make their announcements on the noticeboard or share information with their fellow track members there. Members are also welcomed to suggest on how to improve our noticeboard.

Attn: Photography Members
Do take note that ALL members in the photography track MUST participate in at least 2 photography competition (in school or out of school). You might be interested in the current competition, SYPA 2010. Competition submission is by 17 April. Soft copies of the edited/completed photographs must reach Mr Lam by 4 April so that it can be sent for printing to A4 size. Please read website for rules and criteria. http://www.sypa.org.sg/

Did you know...
  •  that doing duty for 2 school events (speech day / cross- country / sports day / etc) will earn you 1 CCA point?
  • 100 or more hours of CIP accumulated over 4 years will earn you 5 CCA points?
  • that joining in any competition (in school or out of school) will earn you 1 participation point? More points will be given if you are the top 3 winners.
